Music hall night

THE sound of the music hall will be coming to the George Hotel, in Lower Brailes, on Sunday night, when the Cherington players present their selection of old time classics and songs from Oliver.

The troupe, which takes to the George's stage at 8pm, will also be performing at their village hall in Cherington this Friday and Saturday night .

Earlier on Sunday the hotel will be the venue for a lunchtime performance by Helen Porter, who will be taking requests at her piano.

On the following evening, Monday, Banbury band Sounds will be at the hotel with their wide-ranging mix of classic pop tracks.
